Overview

Julie is the Enterprise and Innovation Programmes Officer for Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs). She provides administrative support for the University of Exeter’s KTP portfolio, working with the KTP managers, KTP associates, academics and industrial partners to ensure that projects abide by the KTP scheme rules.

Julie’s main responsibilities include:

• Providing support to KTP associates, external partners and academics
• Managing internal systems and procedures
• Preparing financial statements and meeting papers
• Day-to-day support for the KTP managers

Career

Julie joined the University in October 2018 supporting colleagues in IIB, Research Services and Doctoral College, as a business support administrator. She has been officially working with the KTP team since January 2020, although she did provide ad-hoc support for the KTP team in her previous role.

Prior to working at the Univeristy, Julie spent 4 years working for a children’s book publisher where she co-ordinated logistics and provided sales and office support. She also worked closely with printing partners in the UK and across the globe to arrange large print runs and co-ordinate deliveries across the UK and Europe. Prior to this she spent 4 years working as an officer manager for an accountancy firm.
