Overview

I am the Head of Exeter Innovation, Cornwall. 

My team and I focus on supporting place-based work in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, along with strategic sectors predominantly homed in Cornwall (e.g., critical minerals, space), regional skills development and community engagement aligned with our Civic Universities Agreement.

We work closely with Cornwall-based academic staff, and local to global stakeholders.

Qualifications

University of Bremen (Germany) - M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Marine Geoscience)

Colgate University (USA) - B.A. (Environmental Biology)

Career

I maintain an active research profile, with recent publications in high-impact journals. My research interests are in paleoclimate, palynology and organic geochemistry.
