Connecting Science Across Borders

Entrance to the living systems building

Global partnerships are central to our mission to advance research, innovation, and create lasting impact beyond borders. Our international partnerships enable interdisciplinary knowledge and researcher exchange with leading scientific partners and institutions. By connecting researchers, students, and laboratories from around the world, we can access diverse approaches, technologies, facilities, perspectives, and new methods for understanding living systems and biological complexity across scales.

The LSI is a truly outward-facing research community. Our researchers routinely contribute to international scientific networks, advisory boards, conference organisation and PhD training programmes. Through the spirit of collective enquiry, we are interested in forging strategic and lasting relationships with our international partners, working together to train the next generation of scientists and tackle ambitious research challenges with real-world impact.
