Policy@Exeter (P@E) is the University of Exeter’s strategic platform for advancing policy engagement, knowledge exchange, and impact.

There are many ways researchers can engage with policy, such as:

  • Submitting evidence to select committee and POSTnote inquiries

  • Responding to Government consultations and Areas of Research Interest (ARIs)

  • Producing policy briefs, or accessible blog posts

  • Participating in fellowship and secondment opportunities

  • Working in partnership with local, national, and international policymakers.

University of Exeter researchers regularly engage with Government inquiries across a broad range of themes, from Education to Energy Transition and from Social Mobility to Species Reintroduction. You can find examples of policy briefs by our research colleagues through the Policy@Exeter database.

More examples of recent work can be found on our Policy@Exeter blog.
