STEM Careers Fair 2026 - sponsored by Newton
Monday 2 November 2026
18:00 - 20:00
The Forum, Streatham Campus
The STEM Careers Fair, sponsored by Newton, is this year taking place in The Forum. We will be welcoming a range of STEM-focused companies, representing a variety of sectors, with exhibitors promoting their graduate vacancies, internships, placements and postgraduate courses. It provides the ideal opportunity to meet and speak informally with recruiters about the opportunities available to you.
All University of Exeter students are welcome, regardless of your year of study, subject or campus. Our fair is also open to our graduates. You can find more information about the fair, including the exhibitors attending, My Career Zone.
We will also be running our Careers and Placement Fair - sponsored by Hazlewoods on Tuesday 20 October 2026.
If you are interested in a career in the legal sector, then make sure you attend our Law Careers Fair - sponsored by Michelmores LLP on Wednesday 18 November 2026.
If you are a recruiter wishing to exhibit at the STEM Careers Fair, please visit our employer page.
Ensure you make the most of the event by preparing in advance with the following resources:
- Book onto the Preparing for a Career Fair Session - date to be confirmed.
- We also recommend reading through this online guide.
To attend the fair, there is no need to book. You can just turn up on the day!
We always recommend checking in advance to see who is attending the event. The full list of exhibitors attending will be available to view on My Career Zone.
You will be able to look through the list of exhibitors in advance through the My Career Zone listing for this careers fair.
If you have never used My Career Zone before you will need to log in. To log in and complete your profile please visit https://mycareerzone.exeter.ac.uk/
If you haven't activated your account yet, when prompted select the 'single sign on' option and follow the on screen instructions.
This is NOT a virtual fair - you will not need to book specific sessions to see specific employers, you don't even have to register to come if you don't want to.
Please note that photographs and videos will be taken at this event for marketing and training purposes. We intend to use these images, where appropriate, in our promotional material to tell others about the benefits of the University. This may take the form of entries on the University's website, in emails and printed and digital media, to highlight to other students, prospective students, employers, staff and other stakeholders of the activities organised by the Employer Engagement and Student Employment Team.
We are committed to making this event as accessible and inclusive as possible. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the accessibility, we would like to hear your feedback. Please contact us at employer-events@exeter.ac.uk.
A limited number of Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyards will be available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. These can be collected from the reception desk on arrival.
