Welcome to Cornwall!

Our International Welcome Programme is a designed to welcome you to the university and to help you settle into your new life with us. 

This page will continue to be updated with new and exciting events, so please keep checking back to see what we have planned.

We look forward to meeting you throughout the week.

We run a second International Welcome Programme in January for new year starters. Information on this programme will be available in December.

Asda supermarket visit

Walk down to the local supermarket with us to stock up on food, then jump on a bus back to campus!

Kona Beach Club - Beach Party! 

Kona Events & The Skybar presents Kona Beach Club for Freshers Week at Falmouth & Exeter University with a Beach House theme for the opening night. Get your Hawaiian shirts out and head down for a cocktail.

Working during your studies & Graduate route

If you want to work in the UK either during your studies or after, this workshop is essential. This talk will also cover the Graduate visa for students interested in applying for a Graduate visa at the end of their studies.

Welcome week fair

Welcome to Cornwall! Come to the Welcome Fayre for a day filled with all things SU. From sports and societies to local businesses, there's plenty for you to see and do.

Slip n Slide!

Throw on your swimsuit and slide down the Tremough House lawn to start your year with a splash!

The slip n slide will be open all day on the Welcome Fayre day so that you can make the most of exploring the beautiful Penryn Campus and getting to know your new flatmates and friends.

Whether you've got a spare half an hour or want to spend a few hours outside, the Slip n Slide is the perfect excuse to cool off and do something fun for Welcome.

Week One sees a real focus on your studies, so be sure to check your academic timetable to see what is planned. This can be accessed once you have fully completed registration, and after attending International Student Clearance.

You can still book appointments for International Student Clearance. Click the link to see the most up-to-date appointment availability for this week.

If you arrived late or after Welcome Week come along and meet one of your International Student Advisors for a short induction into university life. This is a great opportunity to meet other students, find out all the information you missed and ask any questions you may have. The talk will be followed by a short campus tour. Wednesday 27th September, 10am, The Student Lounge Tremough House. You must pre-book your space here.
