How rooms are allocated
Applications for accommodation are processed in date order and allocated on a first come first served basis. You can only submit one application.
Applications for accommodation in September 2024 will open on Monday 8 April at midday via our online booking system, Room Service. Students who hold a conditional or unconditional place at the University of Exeter will be able to apply along with students who have deferred from a previous year.
Applications are processed based on the date and time they are submitted.
Offers of accommodation will be sent out periodically throughout the Summer. Offers sent to students holding a conditional course offer will be sent subject to the course requirements being met.
If the course requirements are not met, the accommodation offer will be automatically withdrawn, and the deposit refunded.
We are unable to guarantee your first preference in any offer of accommodation. However we can guarantee a bed space if you apply before the accommodation guarantee deadline of 31st July 2024.

Room types and residences with a limited number of rooms available are not listed as an option on the application and will be allocated to students with a medical or welfare requirement.
We do have other halls of residence in Penryn and Falmouth, these options are predominantly allocated to Falmouth University students. If you wish to be considered for one of these options, you will still need to submit your application as usual and then make contact with the Accommodation Office to discuss your request.
We cannot guarantee an offer for these alternative options of accommodation.
