Visiting PGRs - Support and Services

The University and the Doctoral College offers a range of support to Visiting Postgraduate Researchers. Below you can find information on the services available to you whilst you are based at the University of Exeter. Careers Support

Our dedicated careers support and resources for PGRs are vital in helping you throughout your degree as well as planning for beyond.   

English Language Support

There is a wide range of English Language Support available to you from our Exeter and Cornwall Campuses.

Finance Help

For any help with T1 or finance please contact the Finance helpdesk. Training and help for PGRs on T1 can be accessed here.

Guild - The SU

For those based on either Streatham or St Luke's the Guild is here to represent you, while those based in Penryn or Truro have the SU

Visiting PGRs - Health and Wellbeing

There is a wide range of Health and Wellbeing for Visiting Students support available to you as a PGR throughout your research degree. 

International Support

The International student support team provides advice to all international PGRs. We also have a dedicated PGR international student support webpage.

IT Support

There is a wide range of IT Support available to PGRs at the University of Exeter. Please contact the IT Helpdesk for general IT enquiries and visit the Digital Hub for expert advice on our digital tools.

Postgraduate Teaching Associates (PTA)

HR are able to give advice and guidance on Postgraduate Teaching Associates (PTAs) employment.

Research Culture

Research Culture is an important part of your PGR experience. Get involved and get to know other PGRs via both the PG Society, PGR Study Space and other support and social networks.
