Spring Community Day 2018

Be part of our Spring Community Day 2018!

The University of Exeter’s second Spring Community Day takes place on Saturday 17 March 2018, and this year we are very excited to be joined by Rugby Premiership Champions, Exeter Chiefs who will be with us throughout the day.

Everyone is welcome to join us on our Streatham campus in Exeter from 10.30 – 2.30pm, to help celebrate our vibrant community with loads of FREE, fun events for all the family.

Browse all the activities on offer throughout the day in our Community Day Programme.

Our world-class scientists will be demonstrating weird and wacky experiments for kids and adults alike to get involved with. There will be hands-on astrophysics, space worms, bees and medical marvels. Our students will be showing off their breakdancing skills, lego building expertise and getting you dressed up in our graduation gowns so you can see what it feels like to be an Exeter graduate!

There will be lots of exciting sport activities to get involved in, including touch rugby, cricket, cheerleading, ultimate frisbee, table tennis, football, badminton and tennis. You can get your glow on with our UV fitness classes (UV materials provided) and visit the Northcott Theatre stand to try out their props and get your photo taken.

There will also be loads of informative stands, emergency services community teams with activities and games, as well as face painting, craft workshops, bouncy castles, street food stalls, rollerskating aliens and much, much more.

Come along and join in the fun for all the family.

This is a free event with free on-site parking.

There is no need to register for this event.
