Our Partners
The CTU core team coordinates clinical trial support across our network of trial managers (ECTSN) and our established research methods groups - medical statistics, health economics, process evaluation, qualitative research methods (CTU Methodology Advisory Group).
NIHR Exeter Clinical Research Facility (CRF)
The NIHR Exeter Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is a partnership between the University of Exeter Medical School (UEMS) and the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. It is dedicated to facilitating clinical and translational research. Since 2014, the CRF has been embedded within the RILD Building where it works collaboratively with Exeter Clinical Trials Unit (ExeCTU) and the Wellcome Wolfson Centre for Medical Research to deliver high quality clinical and medical research.
Research Design Service South West (RDS SW)
The RDS exists to provide help for people preparing research proposals for submission to open, national, peer-reviewed funding competitions for applied health or social care research. The RDS essentially consists of a team of people based in universities and the NHS across the South West, able to advise and provide practical support when you are developing your grant application.
The Research Design Service is funded by the NIHR to support health and social care researchers on all aspects of developing a grant application and has staff based in Exeter.
