Soapbox Science at Exeter

Exeter’s Soapbox Science is a public speaking event which aims to break down the gender stereotypes associated with careers in STEMM. It follows the format of Hyde Park’s Speakers’ Corner, showcasing the work of 12 female scientists.

Exeter’s third Soapbox Science will take place on Saturday the 24th June 2017, from 1-4pm in Princesshay Square.

You can visit the soapbox science website for more information about Exeter’s and other events taking place across the UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, Ireland and Germany. You can also keep up to date with our event on Twitter using #ExeterSoapbox

You can also contact local organisers Dr Safi K Darden and Dr Ana Neves with any questions about the event, how to get involved as a speaker, volunteer or sponsor, and our Soapbox Science Alumni Network.
