Exeter update: As a result of the findings in the Childcare Review, a recommendation is to be made to Council to consider the development of a new Family Centre on the Streatham Campus. This will support the requirement for high quality, accessible childcare provision for staff and students at the Exeter campuses. Council will consider this in July and a further update will be provided on the outcome of this discussion.

Please note that the government have announced planned changes to childcare vouchers from Autumn 2015. The link below provides further information on the changes. As part of its range of family friendly initiatives, the University has made arrangements to participate in a scheme which enables employees to purchase, via a salary sacrifice arrangement approved by HM Revenue & Customs, childcare vouchers without paying tax or National Insurance Contributions. Information on the scheme and how to join can be found on our webpages about the provision of childcare vouchers through salary sacrifice.
