PDR Training for Reviewers (Professional Services)

About this course:

The PDR process has a focus on goals and achievement but it is also intended to be supportive, flexible and individualised.

A great PDR is all to do with the quality of the conversation, consequently this session will introduce you to the new ePDR system, however the main focus will be on how this tool can be used to support a great quality conversation.

We will explore the purpose of the PDR process, whilst considering the wider performance management context.

We will also discuss how to deploy a coaching style and share a range of hints, tips, tools and techniques to help you and your reviewees get the most from your PDRs.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will:.

- Be able to describe the purpose of PDRs.

- Understand the skills and behaviours of an effective PDR reviewer.

- Be able to list a range of ways to make the PDR a useful, engaging and productive conversation.

Who should attend this course:

All Professional Services managers/supervisors who will conduct PDR reviews.

This is a mandatory course.
