Coaching and Mentoring - Quality Conversations

Description

Theme:

Personal Effectiveness.

Category:

Working within a Team.

About this course:

Successful mentoring and coaching conversations engage people by challenging them to think, act and learn for themselves.

These conversations have a deeper quality to them than cosmetic or factual conversations and lead to greater development and ownership for everyone involved.

Using the GROW model as a basis this course will encourage you to develop the skills and techniques to enable quality conversations when coaching or mentoring.

The course allows for practical application as well as examining the core skills, behaviours and techniques that help support successful workplace coaching.

This session involves predominantly working in pairs to practice coaching style conversations.

It therefore requires full attendance for the whole session in order to build rapport and work through each stage of the conversation.
