Course Overview: Would you like to feel more empowered and confident in the workplace? The new EMPOWER @EXETER Programme will support you to overcome self doubt/imposter syndrome, observe and acknowledge your own skills and accomplishments, as well as help you understand the impact of mindset in the workplace.

The programme will encourage you to identify professional development goals and to feel more empowered and resilient in the workplace, increasing your ability to achieve workplace/career related goals.

One of the sessions within the Empower Programme will be the "Rmrkbly Session", formally known as #IAMRemarkable of Google.

THIS COURSE IS A 3 PART COURSE ACROSS 3 CONSECUTIVE HALF DAY SESSIONS.

A BOOKING ON EMPOWER @EXETER IS FOR THE ENTIRE COURSE.

Learning Outcomes: -Gain an understanding of the concept of imposter syndrome and recognise the causes, signs and impact.

-Learn strategies/tools to cope with and overcome imposter syndrome & self doubt.

-Explore what a growth mindset is and how it may impact your professional life and development.

-Gain an insight into what makes you unique and reflect on your accomplishments.

-Feel empowered to set and achieve professional goals.

Audience:

This course is open to all staff at the university.
