About this course:

This course is designed to develop ability and practical confidence by equipping you with the knowledge and skills you need to complete risk assessments effectively.

There is a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical sessions.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Follow the essential steps to complete risk assessments in order to protect people from harm.

- Ensure that faculties and services reduce risks to as low as reasonably practicable.

- Identify hazards and produce a thorough risk assessment that is appropriate to your workplace activities.

- Correct issues found, recommend appropriate action and record actions taken.

Who should attend this course:

This course is for staff that are required to complete risk assessments and/or are involved in the risk assessment process within their faculty or service.
