This Zoom workshop provides information about the different components of emotional intelligence along with research-based activities to enhance emotional agility and grow self-awareness.

Learning outcomes:

As a result of attending this course, you will be able to:.

- Introduce the principals of Emotional Intelligence and discuss with others why it is so crucial for your professional development.

- Learn more about neuroscience and how the brain & body works in relation to emotions.

- Discuss how emotions influence relationships and performance within a work environment.

- Practice tools to develop greater self-awareness and self-management of emotions/feelings.

- Explore how greater emotional intelligence can build personal resilience.

- Develop your assertiveness skills by growing your emotional agility.

This course is recommended for Early Career Researchers who are interested in maximising potential and growing self-awareness and the ability to connect well with others.
