We are building a new app based on insight from students around how to improve their student experience at UoE. We want to reduce the number of places where you can get information at the University, so MyExeter is now the one essential tool to navigating your life at UoE. Our goal, in line with the University's Strategy, is to deliver you a unique, personalised digital experience.
If you're on campus, visit the Digital Hub for face-to-face support in Exeter or Cornwall.
You may also provide feedback or report issues via the feedback form found within the MyExeter app, or using the iPads located at the Info Points on each campus.
Some students may still need to use the one time code check-in function within the iExeter app to register your attendance in classes. The iExeter app is still available to use for this function for now. We aim to deliver this functionality in MyExeter as soon as possible in consultation with the relevant stakeholders and will keep those Students and colleagues updated.
The MyExeter app is now an essential tool to your life at University. Use it to view your class timetable, find and book study spaces on your campus, discover the latest University updates and events and much more.
You'll notice the app being updated and improved regularly. We're continuously gathering insight and feedback to ensure the app is valuable to you in your life at UoE. You can help to make it even better by providing feedback in the feedback form within the app.
We'd love to hear your feedback and ideas, whether its small improvements or ideas for big new features! Let us know by completing the form within the app:
Within the app, go to the 'Account' tab and select 'Leave feedback' to complete the form.
We would also like to invite all students to register your interest in taking part in user testing and feedback sessions to help improve our services. Complete this form to register.
Share your idea with us by leaving feedback in the 'Account' section of the app. See 'How do I leave feedback on the app?' for more info on how to do this.
View your personal academic timetable in a user-friendly format. Get real time information on class times, locations, and durations. Navigate the campus with way-finding tools or use the link to join online sessions.
Find study spaces that suit you
Take a look at the study spaces available near you, both bookable and drop-in. Utilise the variety of spaces and take your studying to new locations.
Discover what’s on
Receive in-app University information and updates from teams around the campuses. Visit the events tab to see the wide range of events taking place on and off campus.

No, the app and all of its features are free to all students.
Download MyExeter for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
If you don't have a smartphone you can use the MyExeter web app. This web app isn't as developed as the app that you will find on the app stores, but it has all the essential features Students will need.
The MyExeter app works best on a mobile device.

Check-in is the feature within the MyExeter app that is used to record attendance of Student Visa holders. If this applies to you, you will see a green 'check-in' button in the app at the time of the teaching session you are required to check-in to. If you are not a Student Visa holder you will not see the green Check-in button. Learn more about how to record your attendance in MyExeter.
There are some programmes of study (Medicine and Nursing for example) that require students to register their attendance in lectures, but this functionality isn’t available in MyExeter yet. We are working on bringing this feature to MyExeter asap, but in the meantime, if you are informed by your lecturer or programme office that this impacts you, you will need to use an app called iExeter and the “one-time-code” check-in function available there. iExeter can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or accessed via the desktop version here.
We appreciate that this may be confusing and we assure you we are working to enable all the functionality you need in MyExeter in future.
For support with using MyExeter, contact the IT Helpdesk by phone (01392 725050) or by raising an incident. If you're on campus, visit the Digital Hub for face-to-face support in Exeter or Cornwall.
Right now MyExeter is only designed for UoE Students. University colleagues do have access to MyExeter, however the content isn't yet tailored for staff. If you’re a University of Exeter colleague and would like to get involved with research into creating a staff profile in MyExeter, sign up here.
If you have any questions about MyExeter, attend our fortnightly Digital Demo sessions to learn more & ask us anything.
