Rainbow Fayre 2023
We are delighted to inform you of the upcoming Rainbow Fayre event, taking place on Saturday 13 May 2023. This event is a celebration of diversity and inclusivity within the LGBTQ+ community, and it promises to be an exciting and enjoyable day for all.
The event is organised by Exeter Phoenix and Exeter Pride, supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, and it will be held at the Exeter Phoenix, located in the heart of the city's cultural quarter. The Rainbow Fayre will begin at 12:00 and continue late into the night, with a range of activities and performances scheduled throughout the day.
The day will start with the Big Queer Terrace Party, with DJ Louie Louie kicking off the celebrations. The afternoon will be filled with live music and performances, including Exeter's first-ever Drag King Competition. Visitors can also enjoy stalls located throughout the building, as well as local street food vendors and business giveaways.
As the day turns into evening, the celebrations will continue with the Eurovision Song Contest being streamed live from Liverpool on a big outdoor screen. The terrace party will continue late into the night, followed by a silent disco that will continue into the early hours of the morning.

The Rainbow Fayre is an inclusive event that welcomes all members of the community, and it's free to attend. However, after 23:00, the event is restricted to those aged 18 and above. Exeter Phoenix has taken great care to ensure that the event is Covid-safe, so visitors can enjoy themselves with peace of mind.
