Voicemail

Messenger+ is the University voicemail system.

Benefits of Messenger+

  • Each voicemail greeting is already personalised to each user. A personalised greetings can be recorded if required.
  • You will receive an Email notifications when you have a new voicemail message.
  • The Email notification will include a link to the voicemail message. Listen to these voicemails on your PC, Mac, Deskphone, phone or mobile.

Using Messenger+

Most telephones extension on the telephone directory are automatically setup on Messenger+

If your name is not assigned to an extension on the telephone directory please go  Easy Vista to add your name to the telephone directory.

Extensions by default are forwarded to Messenger+ on no answer and engaged tone.

Accessing Messenger+ via the telephone.

  • Dial 3400 (Internally) or dial 01392 723400 (Externally). 
  • When asked for your user ID enter your desk extension number followed by #
  • When asked for your PIN number enter your PIN . This is allocated via a call to IT Service Desk 

Forwarding calls to Messenger+

Forwarding all calls immediately to Messenger+ can be setup with the following.

  • Press FWD
  • Enter 73xxxx  where xxxx is your extension number 
  • Press FWD

A black chevron will appear on the display.
