Oliver Creighton's 'Where Power Lies' project offers the first systematic examination of the physical evidence for elite centres in the landscape of medieval England between the late Anglo-Saxon and Norman periods

Prof. Thomas Hinton is working to provide the first sustained response to the question of how the French language was learned in Britain between the 13th and 16th centuries.
