Marilyn joined the University in 2010 as part of the Education Team in the Psychology Department. Her main responsibilities were to provide a general enquiry and support service for students and teaching staff, and she learnt many of the University’s IT systems in order to fulfil her duties. 

In 2015 she joined the Medical School and is currently employed as APEx Administrator (Exeter Collaboration for Academic Primary Care).

Prior to joining the University, Marilyn worked in Sales and Marketing and she has been fortunate to have travelled the UK and overseas extensively throughout her career, especially in her role as UK Product Manager for a paper mill.

Industries she has worked in are: Papermaking; Sign Manufacturing; Printing and Print Management.  Throughout this time she has used an abundance of IT systems. These include various databases, building online shopping sites and generally keeping up to date with the latest technology trends, in order to provide the best possible service.
