Overview

Helen started her career in business-to-business research consultancy, managing research projects for global logistics suppliers including DHL, UPS and TNT.  As Associate Director of RS Consulting (now Breaking Blue), Helen conducted high level interviews and presented research findings in many countries - in the US, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, France and Belgium to name but a few.

In 2013 Helen left the field of research to help establish (with a team of 3 other people) a successful travel agency, Alternative Aquitaine, specialising in villa holidays in south west France.  Having sold the company to Simpson Travel, Helen then joined the University of Exeter in June 2021.

Helen is now TARC Adminstrator, supporting the TARC team in their work.
