Revalidation

Revalidation is the General Medical Council's way of regulating licensed doctors. Revalidation will usually take place every five years, and requires a licensed doctor to have regular appraisals based on the GMC's core guidance for doctors.

University of Exeter staff holding an Honorary clinical appointment will be revalidated by the Trust at which they hold their primary Honorary appointment.
