Support for redeployees

The University of Exeter is committed to supporting your career now and in the future. All staff can access a dedicated online resource centre Learn Smart which contains thousands of bite-size articles, checklists, presentations, audio and video clips, elearning materials, exercises and links to further reading on a huge range of topics.

The Learning and Development team also support staff to develop Personal Effectiveness and Career development in a number of ways. To find out more visit the Learning and Development webpages.

Preparing for the recruitment process

The University of Exeter’s Learn Smart resource centre includes a number of articles related to applying for jobs. This resource includes fantastic guidance and support on every aspect of the recruitment process and will ensure that redeployees prepare appropriately for applications and interviews at the University.

If you would like to set up email alerts for jobs in your specified areas please follow the directions below;

  1. Go to our job search page www.exeter.ac.uk/jobs
  2. Enter the criteria of the jobs you would like to receive alerts for e.g. job title/keys words or category
  3. Click search
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the search page and click on the link “Click here to save this search as a job alert”
  5. Login or register to receive alerts to your email (NB remember to use your University log in credentials)

Although we hope you will find alternative employment within the University there are numerous organisations that may be able to support you to find work outside of the University with careers advice, interview skills, CV writing, developing new skills etc.
