Aspiring Managers supports colleagues who want to develop leadership capability, strengthen their effectiveness in their current role, and prepare for future management opportunities.
Key themes include:
- Communication Confidence
- Teamworking and collaboration
- Emotional intelligence: Understanding Self and Others
- Navigating Change
Outcome: Greater confidence, stronger relationships, and readiness for future leadership opportunities.
These sessions can be taken as standalone sessions, as part of a pick-and-mix approach or in their entirety. If all sessions are attended, then the participant will be awarded the Aspiring Managers Programme Certificate of Completion. For more information or to book please follow the individual links above.
Certification
If all sessions are attended then the participant will be awarded the Aspiring Managers Programme Certificate of Completion. They will also be invited to our annual Leadership and Management Celebration event. To notify the People Development team of your completion of the programme, please submit the Completion Form (Leadership & Management Programmes).
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, some modules delivered by Centre 4 Learning can be counted towards the People Management Programme. Please email peopledevelopment@exeter.ac.uk for further guidance.
