This page aims to help students and staff with any administration issues they may have relating to the three main exam sessions.

Important dates for 2025/26:
2025/26 exam dates:
- January exams = Monday 5th January 2026 - Sunday 11th January 2026.
- May exams = Tuesday 5th May 2026 - Sunday 31st May 2026.
- Referred/Deferred exams = Saturday 8th August 2026 - Monday 17th August 2026.
Requests for specific provision/ reasonable adjustments in exams:

- For the January exams and Mid-Term 1 Exams, the ILP deadline is Monday 3rd November 2025.
- For the May and Mid-Term 2 Exams, students must have their ILPs confirmed by Monday 9th February 2026.
- For the Mid-Term 3 Exams students must have their ILPs confirmed by Tuesday 5th May 2026.
- For the August Referred and Deferred Exams the deadline is Thursday 25th June 2026.
Please note that you only need to register your need once, this will then cover you for the whole period of your registration.
Personal exam timetables
Student exam timetables will be made available via MyTimetable as soon as the timetable has been finalised.
Please ensure you check your @exeter email frequently, as notification will be mailed to this address.
Timetable release dates:
All students sitting exams will be emailed when their exam timetable is released for each period. These timetables will be released at the following times:
January Exam Period - Late November
May Exam Period - Mid March
August Exam Period - Late July
