If you are spending the holidays in Exeter, join a warm and welcoming Christmas Day Lunch at Holland Hall on 25 December 2025. Enjoy a traditional two-course festive meal with friends old and new - perfect for sharing the holiday spirit away from home.

Arrive from 12:30pm for a 1pm lunch.

Tickets are £17 for adults and £10 for children aged 8 and under.

Spaces are limited, so make sure to book your place by noon on Wednesday 17 December 2025

Christmas and New Year Opening Arrangements

Our practice will be open as usual throughout the festive period, with the exception of the following bank holidays:

  • Christmas Day

  • Boxing Day

  • New Year’s Day

On all other days, our services will operate as normal.

Please note that on 17th, 18th, 19th, 24th December, and 2nd January, we will be operating from our two other sites, St Thomas Health Centre and Exwick Health Centre, due to staffing and the quieter period over Christmas.

Students can continue to request support in the usual way, either by phone or through online triage. If an in-person appointment is required on the dates listed above, it may take place at one of our other sites.

The Estate Patrol Control Room is staffed 24/7 this includes the Christmas closure period.

Estate Patrol Officers will be available to provide advice, direction and attend incidents as required. The Non-emergency telephone line is 01392 723999, in cases of emergency individuals should contact the emergency services on 999 and then contact the Estate Patrol through their emergency line 01392 722222.  

In the event of an emergency involving student welfare, Estate Patrol (01392 723999) will be able to contact Student Services Senior Management Team staff to co-ordinate a response.

Stagecoach Line 4 Service

  • Timetable: View the Line 4 timetable

  • Operating days: Line 4 runs Monday to Sunday and on public holidays, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.

  • Night Bus: The Night Bus service will be suspended from 13 December to 7 January.
