Grand Challenges 2023

SeptiTect

This project promoted implanting a biosensory nanoparticle tattoo which could detect early sepsis within interstitial fluid. This would then light up if detected and relsying the message to the patients phone, as well as contacting emergency services and contacts in severe situations. This message would carry an encrypted QR code to be used by the medical professional, and overall would provide a cost effective and invisible design to detect health issues.
