Other events in town

During April, Exeter puts a variety of events in place for everyone to enjoy. The RAMM holds talks, lectures, exhibitions, and workshops such as the RAMM Lates session to explore a variety of music and dance performances, writing and yoga sessions, and more. Other performances will take place at Northcott Theatre and Exeter Phoenix, as listed in their websites. And the Red Coat guides will continue their regular tours across the city that go from exploring Medieval Exeter to hearing about its ghosts and legends. 

 

The Student Health centre will be offering NHS GP services to students.

Wellbeing Services

There is also a lot of information, advice and guidance on the University’s Wellbeing and Support webpages. This includes apps, webinars and workbooks which you may find helpful. 

You an access a wide range of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy based support online through Living Life to the Full, including courses on low mood, anxiety and stress. You can access Living Life to the Full through our A-Z of support services. 

All students have access to Together all which is an online support community, offering peer and professional support and is available 24/7, 365 days of the year.

Postgraduate research students can also access Spectrum Life for counselling and support .

If you are experiencing difficulties with your mental health and want to speak with someone you can call NHS 111 for urgent mental health support. You can also contact The Samaritans on 116123. Or 999 in an emergency.

1-1 SUPPORT: OUR CHAPLAINS
Multifaith Chaplains serve all in the University of Exeter community; staff/students of any faith background or none. They offer specialist faith advice, pastoral and spiritual support and run events from various different faith traditions and worldviews.
If you're ever feeling stressed, down or simply want to have an informal chat with our Chaplains about anything, feel welcome to book a 'Time to Talk' appointment or e-mail chaplaincy@exeter.ac.uk.

You still have access to e‑resources, 24/7 chat support, and can apply for SCONUL Access to use other university libraries.

During the Spring Vacation, the Career Zone will be available online.

You can contact them between 10:00 and 15:00, Monday to Friday. Virtual one-to-one appointments will be available with their friendly and experienced staff, plus the team will also be able to live chat with you via the Career Zone website, take your phone calls and answer your emails. You can access My Career Zone to search for jobs and opportunities, and use their website for career research and planning.

The Estate Patrol Control Room is staffed 24/7 this includes the Easter vacation period. Estate Patrol Officers will be available to provide advice, direction and attend incidents as required. The non-emergency telephone line is 01392 723999, in cases of emergency individuals should contact the emergency services on 999 and then contact the Estate Patrol through their emergency line 01392 722222.

Students’ Guild

We’re still here for you over the spring break (30 March – 27 April). While our Streatham and St Luke’s Receptions will be closed, Devonshire House and G48 will stay open for students on campus to study or catch up with friends. Our Advice team will remain available for appointments (excluding the bank holiday).
