What did you enjoy most about your degree programme?

It was the constant challenge that I enjoyed most about my Law degree. Being surrounded by like-minded students encourages you to push yourself throughout your degree. Being supported by knowledgeable and approachable lecturers allows you to achieve your full potential as a law student and develop skills that will be invaluable to your future legal career.

Please tell us about the award your received.

I have been awarded the School of Law Prize and the Baker Prize for Company Law. Receiving these prizes means a lot to me. I have worked extremely hard over the past three years of my Law degree, and so I am proud to have something to show for that commitment.

What has been the highlight of your time at Exeter?

My personal highlight has to be the organisation and execution of the Careers Dinner in November 2017. Having worked tirelessly on the project for months with my partner, it was rewarding to see the success of the event first-hand and its positive impact upon so many students. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity - not many people can say that they organised a dinner for over 200 people at Exeter Cathedral!

What will you miss most about the university?

I will miss the real sense of community at Exeter University. From bumping into everyone you know on campus to feeling able to approach the University's staff about any of your worries or concerns, you know that you are part of something much bigger. Make the most of it while you can!

What advice would you give to current and future students?

The best piece of advice I could give to current and future students would be to get involved! Whether you join a society, start a new sport or work hard for those first-year exams that "don't count", this is the way to make the most out of your time here, on both a personal and academic level

What are your plans now that you’ve graduated?

I am proud to have secured a training contract with Clifford Chance, and so will soon be training to become a solicitor. I will commence the LPC with LLM in London in January 2020.
