Access to internships

‎Access to Internships

Access to Internships is a fund to help the students and 2012 graduates of the University of Exeter to secure a paid internship placement.

Typically we offer a £500 subsidy to potential employers to help towards the cost of your internship placement. We ask you to market yourself to employers, offering the subsidy as an additional incentive. We will provide you with an information pack how to do this, once you have registered.

  • 16 x £500 student Access to Internships left
  • 9 x £500 graduate Access to Internships left

Once you have found an internship you will need to submit an application for the funding on behalf of your employer. Employment Services will make a decison and notify you within 7 days as to whether your employer will be issued with a subsidy, subject to receving full information.

The subsidy will be paid to the employer when the intern has undertaken a minimum of 210 hours of the internship; and a completed Case Study Form‎, with contributions from the intern and employer, has been received by Employment Services.  ‎‌
