This programme is designed to equip you with a flexible array of methodological skills to enable you to function more effectively as a PhD student or professional researcher in psychology. These skills will enable you to be a researcher who can ask well-thought out questions, develop and assess good theoretical answers, have a sure command of relevant methodologies and carry out research to a consistently high standard. The MSc can be applied for as a stand-alone degree or form the first year of a PhD.
This programme comprises of compulsory and option taught modules and a substantial research project. It will acquaint you with a wide range of research methods and data analysis techniques in psychology, while enabling you to develop specialist skills and knowledge in selected areas.
