As a friendly group of staff, you will get to know us well during your time here.

Careers

What are the biggest highlights of the ITMB degree?

Study a degree that addresses the IT skills gaps reported by employers

The BSc IT Management for Business degree is a result of the collaboration between top UK employers and universities. The programme will equip graduates with the right technical and business skills to enter the workplace after university.

Employer networking opportunities

In 2003, e-skills UK identified a growing concern amongst top companies in the UK that the knowledge and skills of most IT graduates were not suited to the majority of roles within the sector.

As a result, e-skills worked with employers to find out the knowledge and skills that are important to them and what they look for in their ideal graduate employees. The result was the unique ITMB degree which combines practical technology and business skills with real employer involvement.

Since its launch in 2005, the number of employers supporting the programme has grown to over 80 companies, representing all industry sectors. You can view a full list of employers involved in ITMB here.

Employers are active in the ITMB programme and regularly attend ITMB events, give business lectures and run 'Mock Interview' days to help ITMB students with their interview techniques and CVs. Students on the course can also get exclusive ITMB tailor-made year and summer placements within the industry. As an ITMB student you will get an exclusive access to employer led events such as:
