Shortlisting normally takes places within two weeks of a job closing. Once shortlisting has taken place, we will contact you to let you know if your application has been successful or not.
If more than two weeks have passed and you have not heard back regarding your application, please contact us on recruitmentadmin@exeter.ac.uk.
As we recognise the time and effort it takes to apply to a role, we will contact you to let you know if you are shortlisted for interview or not. As an employer of choice, we receive a high number of applications so are unable to offer feedback if you are not shortlisted.
All interview times will be UK time. If you are currently in a different time zone and are unable to select an interview time which is suitable for you, please reach out to the interview panel to discuss alternative arrangements.
If you require an adjustment to the recruitment process you will be able to state this as part of your application. You can also contact us on recruitmentadmin@exeter.ac.uk. Further information about reasonable adjustments can be found in Your recruitment journey/Support during your recruitment journey.
If you attend an interview, you should hear back from either the chair of the panel or a panel member as to the outcome of your interview. In the event you don’t receive an update, please follow up directly with the chair of the panel.
Expenses will only be reimbursed for posts Grade E and above
If you are successful at interview and require a visa to work in the UK, we will review the possible visa options that may be available to you. Further information about visa options can be found here.
