We are committed to delivering world-class communications; engaging with future students, students, staff and stakeholders to help build an outstanding educational and student experience, develop high quality services and to raise awareness about the University and all its activities.
We engage with stakeholders in the UK and all around the world and have expertise in branding, strategic marketing, event management, digital and traditional media, admissions, widening participation, market research and internal communications.
We bring together communications across the University to promote our world leading research, education and student experience. We are responsible for creative marketing activity; we make ideas happen and deliver products that engage our staff, students, alumni and stakeholders. We provide advice on using the University brand, produce creative design for campaign materials, guidance on delivering a high quality event or provide you with market insight by conducting surveys, focus groups and secondary research. Our purpose is to understand the needs of students and customers and to help the University to make good business and investment decisions using customer and market data. We work closely with colleges and colleagues in the Education and Student Experience Service to produce marketing strategies and deliver tactical campaigns.
We play a key role in delivering the University’s ambition to recruit high potential students from all around the world. We work with schools and colleges to help raise pupil attainment and increase the diversity of students entering higher education. Our teams work in the UK and overseas to help prospective students make informed choices about their future, and support them throughout the admissions process ensuring they receive high quality information and excellent service.
