Professional Services Fellowship Scheme

A Professional Services Staff Fellowship program has been established between the Universities of Exeter and Queensland to provide professional development opportunities and to share best practice and experience. It may also serve to promote enhanced systems and services for the QUEX partnership projects.

Annual calls will be released and funds ring-fenced to support 2 professional staff per institution to undertake a placement at the partner of up to 2 weeks. Grants valued up to a maximum of £4,000 will be awarded according to the strength of the proposal, and evidence of the benefits to the participant, their home unit and the host unit.

Staff members at the University of Exeter applying for a placement at the University of Queensland through this scheme should contact quex@exeter.ac.uk with any questions on processes and advice and to submit your application.

Equally, staff members at the University of Queensland applying for a placement at the University of Exeter should contact globalstrategy@uq.edu.au with any questions on processes and advice in the first instance and to submit your application.

Our 2022-2023 Round 3 call is now OPEN

We are delighted to reopen this scheme for applications. Anyone interested in applying should consult the QUEX PS Fellowship Guidance Notes, and contact us at quex@exeter.ac.uk with any queries.

Please note too that the Global Partnerships team will be available during the 2023 QUEX Symposium to answer any questions you might have on the QUEX PS Fellowship scheme. Please join us alongside the QUEX Symposium Skills Fair at the University of Exeter XFI Building between 15.00 and 17.00 on Tuesday 4 April and we will be happy to answer any questions.‌
