The Understanding Landscapes project hopes that the communities we are working with, and new audiences, will continue to investigate and champion their local heritage.
To help you do this we are developing a series of toolkits to show you how to organise and undertake your own projects.
The toolkits we envisage are:
- Landscape research using maps and documents
- Field recording and basic earthwork survey
- Field walking
- Test pits
