Further.Ed.Hub aimed to collate resources about further education options into an easy-to-use website and a brochure that could be handed out in secondary schools. They cover not only the different options available to students, such as degrees and apprenticeships, but also looked at the support systems offered by universities to students, such as hardship funds, the Disabled Students’ Allowance and mental health services. As well as this, theybreak down the steps you need to follow to apply to different schemes and busting common myths and concerns, such as about paying back student loans, giving secondary school students a comprehensive guide to applying to further education and hopefully encouraging those from disadvantaged backgrounds to look into their options if they otherwise would not have.
