Holding an outdoor grassed event on campus
Outdoor grassed events
If you would like to book The Forum Street, the North Piazza or the South Piazza for your event during term time, please contact the Forum Bookings Team.
If you would like to book The Forum Street, the North Piazza or the South Piazza for your event during vacation or if it is an external event, please contact the Event Exeter Team.
If you would like to book an outdoor event on grassed areas, please complete the outdoor grassed event booking form at least five working days before the event.
Please attach the approved and signed off risk assessment with the form; we cannot proceed with your application without the risk assessment.

The Grounds Team reserves the right to review events and, due to the ongoing fluid situation, events may be cancelled at short notice.
A – Grassed area by Peter Chalk Centre
B – Grassed area to the rear of the Northcott Theatre
E – Queens arboretum
F – Grassed area by Amory
G – Grassed triangle at the bottom of Stocker Road
H – Grassed area opposite Car Park A
I – Magnolia Lawn to the rear of the Xfi building
J – Lawn at Lopes Hall
K – Lawn at Duryard Hall
L – Grassed area behind the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies building
M - International Garden
You will be required to complete a risk assessment for each event at least three working days prior to the event. If you do not have one prepared, please complete the Event Management Risk Assessment Tool.
