Project aims and objectives
The university has given its highest priority to developing the employability levels of its students and seeks to ensure that they are amongst the most successful graduates in the country in securing graduate-level employment and further study.
Implementation of a Careers Administration System has the following objectives:
To ensure that a critical mass of students and graduates are able to engage in the employability agenda
To improve access to students, graduates and employers to a range of employability information
To reduce staff time spent on administration and improve efficiency
To improve the communication of employability information
The Careers Administration and Management System PID and tender documents are now complete. The legal contract has been completed and signed.
My Career Zone is now live to all current students at Exeter University. We have had over 7000 unique student logins so far to the system.
Students are able to view job vacancies, FAQs and resources. Students can also book careers consultant appointments and events. The system has been restyled to tie in with the Career Zone in the Forum and rolling out an online fairs form for employers.
The end of project report has been drafted and will be circulated to PCG.
