Project aims and objectives

This review will inform the University with regard to the direction that should be taken to deliver its parking permit service. The intention is to provide a facility for staff to input their car details to purchase a permit, possibly via the self-service screens in Trent, and to review the current arrangements for other groups to purchase permits with a view to also producing efficiencies in the way that these processes are carried out.

The Review Coordinator will interview key players in February and write a brief report identifying issues to go with process maps in March. This will be circulated to CSG by email as it will not be possible to meet the 26 February deadline for the 2nd circulation of papers for the 4 March meeting. A meeting has been held with members of the CS Team and the Parking Permit Office to discuss the scope for the development work and enable resource planning to take place, but a project proposal will be drafted and circulated in March to establish clear parameters for this work.
