How to apply - Temporary Staff Bank (TSB)

The application process for the TSB is as follows:

  1. Registration Form and Skills Form

  2. Shortlisting

  3. Interview (and Right to Work check)

  4. Confirmation of registration on the Bank

  5. You will be alerted as work becomes available 

Please note: Registration on the Bank will be confirmed after a successful shortlisting and interview process.

If you are interested in working with us, please complete the Registration Form on line and email the completed  TSB Skills Form  to Until we receive both of these documents your appliction maybe delayed.

You may wish to refer to the attached Person specification which details the essential and desirable criteria that you are required to demonstrate to be considered to join the Bank.

If you’re experiencing a problem whilst applying and receive the following error message ‘email address has already been registered’, this is because you have used this email address previously to complete an application for the University, therefore will need to use an alternative.  Please ensure that you put the email address that you would like TSB to use to communicate with you, on your Skills Form.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused. 

Please note: that the University normally contacts referees without further notice to applicants, if you have given us permission to do so.

Occasionally, we experience high volumes of applications and this may result in a delay in processing your application.  We aim to provide an outcome to your application within 2 weeks.

If you have previously worked at the University of Exeter and left as part of the Voluntary Release Scheme you will not be eligible for TSB registration. If this is the case, or you are unsure, please contact HR Services on 01392 723413
