How to apply
The application process for the Temporary Staff Bank (TSB) is as follows:
- Complete the Registration Form online
- Applications assessed against the TSB Person specification
- Interview (and Right to Work check)
- Confirmation of registration on the Bank
- You will be alerted as work becomes available
Please note: Registration on the Bank will be confirmed after a successful shortlisting and interview process.
Applications are open
Please complete the Registration Form online. Although the majority of staff are currently working from home, some roles are based solely on campus for operational reasons and over the next few months it is expected all TSB workers will need to come onto campus from time to time.
If you’re experiencing a problem whilst applying and receive the following error message ‘email address has already been registered’, this is because you have used this email address previously to complete an application for the University, therefore will need to use an alternative. Please ensure that you put the email address that you would like TSB to use to communicate with you, on your Skills Form. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Please note: that the University normally contacts referees without further notice to applicants, if you have given us permission to do so.
Occasionally, we experience high volumes of applications and this may result in a delay in processing your application. We aim to provide an outcome to your application within 2 weeks.

If you have previously worked at the University of Exeter and left as part of a Voluntary Release Scheme you may not be eligible for TSB registration. If this is the case, or you are unsure, please contact HR Services on 01392 723094
