The University Committee Secretariat Team, which is part of the Compliance, Governance and Risk Directorate, oversee the coordination and running of Council, Senate and other senior committees.

Jeremy Diaper is the Assistant Director, Governance.
Jeremy is the Assistant Director of Governance and joined the University January 2023.

Executive Suite Office Manager and Council Co-ordinator
Jean Lloyd is the Executive Suite Office Manager and Council Co-ordinator and a member of the University Committee Secretariat.
Jean Lloyd joined the University in October 1991, having previously worked as the Sales and Marketing Secretary for a yachting company in Hampshire.
In January 2008, Jean joined the Executive Suite, supporting the committee-related work of the University, in particular Council, as well as the Vice-Chancellor's Executive Group.

Totty Brobyn
Committee Secretariat Administrator
Totty Brobyn joined the University in 2012 as a PA within the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences before becoming an Executive PA to a number of Deputy Vice-Chancellors in the Executive Suite. She moved to her current position as the University Committee Secretariat Administrator in 2017.
Totty is the first point of contact for Senate, Audit Committee, Dual Assurance and general secretariat enquiries.

Eloise Norris
Governance Coordinator
Eloise is the Governance Coordinator and joined the team in June 2023. After graduating from the University of Exeter with a degree in Politics, she started this GBP role with the Committee Secretariat. As coordinator she focuses on administrative and writing skills in order to support the University committees, and has recently expanded to contributing to committee papers.
