In September 2022, the University implemented the increase to the Living Wage Foundation’s Living Wage from £9.90 per hour to £10.90 per hour.
The first point on Grade B was increased to £20,688 per annum.
The second point was increased to £20,998 per annum.
The new rates are 10.1% higher than the rate in July 2022.
From 1 November 2022, we will extend Grade B from 2 point to 4 points.
Colleagues in Grade B will not see any further changes to their pay in November unless they were paid at point L2 on or before 1 February 2022 – these colleagues will be paid at the new point L3 (£21,313) on Grade B from 1 November 2022.
Colleagues in Grade B will continue to progress up the extended scale in future years.
