Caroline Clunies-Ross: Quaker Chaplain (she/her)
I am at the Multi Faith Chaplaincy building on Fridays 12 noon - 4 pm and I look forward to welcoming students and staff, of any faith or none, to the building for a chat / cup of tea or to join us in a quiet “Quaker Pause” at 1-1:30pm (Fridays in term time) - with a hot drink and chat afterwards.
I’ve been a Quaker for nearly three decades and find the values of peace, equality, sustainability, simplicity, and truth are always relevant, often exciting, and frequently challenging. I deeply value the perspective that there is “that of God in everyone” which seems particularly important in a multi faith context such as the University Chaplaincy and to me as a lesbian woman.
My working background was in the NHS (I still do a little bit of that) and I find great joy in sharing meals with friends and family and knitting using soft yarn in gorgeous colours!
If you would like to have chat or one-one you can get in contact with me via email at C.Clunies-Ross3@exeter.ac.uk
