CliMates

This group decided that music has the power to bring people together no matter what their differences are. They created an educational package, which is accessible to anyone, to be used in schools. The package is called "CliMates" which involved different bear characters, which includes detailed lesson plans including colouring activities for teachers to educate classes about the climate. To go with the lesson plans, they created a music video with interactive educational lyrics to engage the children in the material. Songs bring everyone together and in this case, raise awareness about an issue that is become a bigger problem each day: climate change. The aim of their project was to use singing as part of an educational package to help to engage everyone allowing for more differentiation of pupils in a class. Their lesson plan caters for all needs, allowing everyone to have the maximum growth and individual success.
