Green Beans' Climate Community Game

Students in this group created a lesson plan involving a role-play game called “The Climate Community Game” to teach children in an interactive manner how to help with the climate emergency. The aim was for children to understand how the individual motivations of different groups in society can create a tension between personal profit and the environmental state of a community. Children were given a role to play e.g farmer or a supermarket owner, and had to weigh up benefits to their character against benefits to the planet.
