Our flagship fair provides an excellent opportunity to boost your profile and meet with our high calibre students. It typically attracts over 80 exhibitors and in the region of 2,800 students, making it the largest careers fair we deliver.

We welcome a range of companies, representing a variety of sectors. Exhibitors attend to promote graduate vacancies, internships, placements and postgraduate courses.

The event is marketed to Exeter students from all years and disciplines, so you can expect those in the first year through to their final year to attend. Our graduates are also welcome. 

Due to high demand for this event, we recommend submitting a booking form as soon as possible. Bookings will open in March 2018.

Most companies are eligible for our standard rate of £450+VAT except where special rates apply (please see below).    

  • Agency Rate - £550+VAT - all recruitment agencies and jobs portals.
  • Charity Rate - £200+VAT - all registered charities recruiting to paid positions only. 

Due to high demand for this event, we recommend submitting your booking form promptly. Please note we limit the number of spaces available to recruitment agencies and jobs portals (specialising in graduate recruitment only), to a maximum of three. Limited spaces are available for those who are eligible for our discounted rate and are allocated at our discretion.

The charges include:

  • A stand space (2.5m width x 1.5m depth x 2m height)
  • One table and two chairs
  • An electrical point
  • Wi-Fi access (subject to restrictions, you may need to bring a dongle if you have an encrypted laptop). 
  • Lunch for two exhibitors (additional lunches will be chargeable)
  • Tea, coffee, water and biscuits available throughout the day
  • Car parking permit for one vehicle 
  • A standard entry in our fair booklet
  • Hyperlink from the Career Zone’s website to your organisation’s website.

Invoicing will take place after the event. Failure to provide accurate invoicing details may result in a processing fee of up to £30.

A hot lunch will be available for exhibitors at the nearby Terrace Restaurant from 11:30. Tickets are distributed to exhibitors on the day.

Additional lunches can be booked in advance. They are charged at £6.75+VAT per head (inclusive of tea, coffee, water and biscuits throughout the day). 

The fair will take place in the Great Hall, University of Exeter, Stocker Road, Exeter, Devon EX4 4PZ. The event will be open to students from 11:30 to 15:30.

Access to the building is from 08:30 to 17:00. Student helpers will be available throughout these times to assist.

In 2017 we had 85 exhibitors and approximately 2,800 students visit the fair. A selection of exhibitor quotes are below:

Deliveries in advance of the fair date will only be accepted on the 22nd October between 09:00 and 16:00. Deliveries on the day are not accepted. All deliveries are the responsibility of the exhibiting organisation. The University of Exeter cannot accept responsibility for any loss of, or damage to, items that are delivered to campus.

It is the responsibility of the exhibitors to ensure that any goods for collection are packaged and labelled accordingly. Items must be collected no later than 17:00 on the day of the fair.

Cancellation must be received in writing by emailing Natalie Luscombe, Employer Liaison Officer (gradrec@exeter.ac.uk) by Wednesday 29th August 2018. Cancellations received after this date will result in the full cost being incurred. Failure to attend the Fair, regardless of reason, will result in the full charge being levied.
