The information below relates to our 2016 event which has now taken place. Our 2017 fair dates will be released shortly and bookings will open in March/April 2017.

The Careers and Placement Fair is now fully booked.
This fair is aimed at current Exeter students from all disciplines and all years of study. Students will use the event to meet with organisation representatives, learn more about the possible career pathways available and investigate further study options. Our recent graduates are also welcome to attend.
Organisations exhibit to promote their internships, placements, graduate vacancies and post-graduate courses. Please note this fair is not suitable for those offering volunteering opportunities.
The 2016 Careers and Placement Fair bookings are now closed. Bookings for the 2017 event will open in due course.
Most companies are eligible for our standard rate of £450+VAT except where special rates apply (please see below).
- Agency Rate - £550+VAT - all recruitment agencies and jobs portals.
- Charity Rate - £200+VAT - all registered charities recruiting to paid positions only.
Due to high demand for this event, we recommend submitting your booking form promptly. Please note we limit the number of spaces available to recruitment agencies and jobs portals (specialising in graduate recruitment only), to a maximum of three. Limited spaces are available for those who are eligible for our discounted rate and are allocated at our discretion.
The charges include:
- a stand space (2m width x 1.5m depth x 2m height)
- one table and 2 chairs
- an electrical point
- a standard entry in our fair booklet
- hyperlink from the Career Zone’s website to your organisation’s website.
- wi-fi access
- lunch for 2 exhibitors (additional lunches will be chargeable)
- tea, coffee, water and biscuits available throughout the day
- car parking permit for one vehicle (additional parking spaces will be chargeable)
Invoicing will take place after the event. Failure to provide accurate invoicing details may result in a processing fee of up to £30.

A hot lunch will be available for exhibitors at the nearby Terrace Restaurant from 11:30. Tickets are distributed to exhibitors on the day.
Additional lunches can be booked in advance. They are charged at £6.50+VAT per head (inclusive of tea, coffee, water and biscuits throughout the day).
The fair will take place in the Great Hall, University of Exeter, Stocker Road, Exeter, Devon EX4 4PZ. It will be open to students from 11:30 to 15:30.
Access to the building is from 08:30 to 17:00. Student helpers will be available throughout these times to assist.
In 2015 we had 86 exhibitors and 3000 students visit the fair. A selection of exhibitor quotes are below:

Deliveries in advance of the fair date will only be accepted on the 17 October between 09:00 and 16:00. Deliveries on the day are not accepted. All deliveries are the responsibility of the exhibiting organisation. The University of Exeter cannot accept responsibility for any loss of, or damage to, items that are delivered to campus.
It is the responsibility of the exhibitors to ensure that any goods for collection are packaged and labelled accordingly. Items must be collected no later than 17:00 on the day of the fair.
Cancellation must be received in writing by emailing Natalie Luscombe, Employer Liaison Officer (email@example.com) by Wednesday 31st August 2016. Cancellations received after this date will result in the full cost being incurred. Failure to attend the Fair, regardless of reason, will result in the full charge being levied.
