Andrew Stratton Convocation Lecture: Dartmoors Wildlife a Photographic Exploration

This year's lecture will take you on a photographic journey of one of England's most beautiful and dramatic landscapes.


Event details

Dartmoor was established as a National Park in 1951 and has a rich array of habitats and wildlife. This talk will take you on a photographic journey through some of Dartmoors quiet corners and through its seasons and illustrate some of the fabulous plants.

Charles Tyler is a Professor in Environmental Biology and Deputy Head of Biosciences at the University of Exeter. His research work is focused on the impacts of chemicals on wildlife populations, most notably fish. He has a passion for wildlife and is a lifelong naturalist. Any free time that he can find, he spends on Dartmoor.
